We offer a new student an Intro Class. You can find out the quality of skills you will acquire, and meet your prospective training partners, peer students, and instructors. If you are the reasonable, cooperative, diligent, and unique individual, you are more than welcome to join us at Academy of WingChun Berkeley. Please submit the intro class request below.

Virtual WingChun Classes
Dec 19 @ 9:30 am – 10:30 am

The Virtual Classes are covering the core basics and solo training drills from WingChun. The classes may also include the fundamentals of weapon training (Escrima Plus), using the common household items like umbrella, mops, bloom sticks, machete, etc, in addition to the traditional martial arts weapons.

They are based on the self-defense techniques, emphasized on how to interact with your bodies and mind, as well as opponents’, in most efficient way. The drills incorporate mild to intense core strengthen exercise, good for stress relief, and boost our immune system.

Be ready to sweat and have fun in the class! Learning how to cope with stress and find out your own strategies to get through uncertain situations, is one of the important parts of martial arts training. No prior experience necessary.

We are returning to our normal schedule and location. If you are interested in training with us, please visit us at Berkeley Location. We will send you a Zoom codes for the classes once the registration is complete.

The Keysi Fighting Method is an urban self-defense system, which has been featured in movies such as the Batman series, Jack Reacher, and Game of Thrones, etc.

The program will be lead by Andrew Emerson, based on the KFM and his own military experience. The focus of his lessons is to recognize statistically predictable patterns of violent behavior among criminal assailants and exploit those patterns for the benefit of the defendant. He starts with a probable self-defense scenario, demonstrate an appropriate technique in response to that scenario, and develop that technique into a new instinct through repetition.
